Go Fund Your Life was founded in 2016 in Columbus, Ohio by Nicole A Simpson. We are an education and resource firm. We realize most people don’t learn about insurance and how it works until they need it. We see there is a gap in urban communities when it comes to financial safety nets like insurance. Far too often we observe our community members turning to popular crowd funding websites, and community fundraisers to cover these unexpected expenses. We see insurance as a wealth accelerator. Without insurance businesses and families are left with enormous financial burdens that can have negative effects on building generational wealth.
Through our research we found price, accessibility, and education were the 3 contributing factors to the gap facing our communities. So, we set out to build a platform to make the insurance buying process easy, educational, and affordable.
